1. Impacting the Local Community

A popular saying among the leaders and members of New Harvester International Ministries (NHIM) is that we are committed to “living the real Christian life.”   NHIM leaders cultivate an environment where members are equipped to serve in the Church and to minister in the community.  As a result, NHIM seeks to express God’s love for the local community by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ both spiritually and practically.

2. Fulfilling an Apostolic Calling

New Harvester International Ministries (NHIM) is called to aggressively participate in the Great Commission.  The Great Commission is designed for one purpose: to restore God’s relationship with the human beings He created.  NHIM’s role in this restorative process is “to gather the harvest” in the context of John 4:34-38 (NLT).

Harvesters are prepared for service by the church leadership.   Jesus Christ gave the Church five gifts or types of leaders: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers.  The responsibility of this five-fold ministry is “to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.”  Ephesians 4:11-13 (NLT).

Apostleship is a gift from Christ that is associated with church leadership, governing, delegation and church planting.  NHIM has an apostolic anointing evidenced by its love of all of God’s people and its heart to harvest souls and plant churches. Its leadership and members are committed to training and sending five-fold ministry teams prepared to equip Christians to serve in their various spheres of influence: home, work, school, and social and recreational environments, everywhere they go.  Equally important, NHIM’s leadership and members are committed to training and sending planting churches teams.  These teams will venture into new communities locally, domestically, and internationally where they can “harvest new fields” of those who are being prepared to enter the Kingdom of God and to share in eternal life through Jesus Christ.

3. Being a House of Prayer and a Center for Revival

NHIM leaders and members have accepted God’s call to be a house of prayer and a center for revival.  NHIM will be filled with saints who gather together because God has impressed upon them the desire for prayer and for the fire of revival.  These saints have an increased desire for Jesus and Him alone and for His will to be fulfilled in the earth. These saints understand that revival comes out of the necessity for and intimate times of petitioning prayer.  Finally, these saints understand that petitioning prayers must bombard heaven until their lives are transformed into true replicas of Christ likeness and God’s Glory is released.
